William uses lead-free and nickel-free tin to ensure its durability and prevent problems such as chipping, rust or tarnishing. He never uses aggressive chemicals. Cleaning your pewter is easy; simply use a soft cloth with detergent, then rinse and dry.
When William creates a piece, he first sculpts a wax model. After this he constructs his mold, which must be tested and adjusted. Once the mold is finished and is working correctly, he spin casts each piece, and then after the pewter has cooled, removes rough areas by hand. Once the items are inspected, they are polished and assembled, soldering the components if required.
